SAQ stands for Speed, Agility, and Quickness, which are elements which compliment a Judo practitioner style of fighting. This philosophy means that to be successful in judo you do NOT need to rely on strength or wrestling alone but to practice graceful movements to help you achieve your goals in Judo.
Our concept is to teach a student to apply smooth and graceful movements, using minimum effort and maximum deception to win Judo contests.
We believe at SENSHI JUDO “it’s not how, but the way” we teach our fighting style. Students are taught to have a can do will do attitude and given the knowledge to enable them to deliver and string multiple attacks in any given situation to score “IPPON” either practicing or competing.
SENSHI judo coaches will ensure you are able to deliver each aspect taught before completion of each judo lesson using simple step patterns to build confidence, stamina, overall physical strength, flexibility and core strength, to guarantee effective throwing. Our teaching method allows our students to continue practicing techniques away from the dojo.
